How do I program a speed dial button on my phone?

If you have unused buttons on your digital or analog proprietary telephone, you can program them as speed dial buttons.

KX-TD308     KX-TD816     KX-TD1232     KX-TD500     KX-TA1232

1. With the handset down and the speakerphone off.
2. Press the PROGRAM button, press 99    (PAUSE 99 if you do not have a PROGRAM button )
3. Press the button you want to program
4. If the button light turns red, dial 2  (if you select a button without a light, skip this step)
5. Dial 9 or a line access number
6. Dial the number you want to program
7. Press the STORE button. (The button with AUTO DIAL above it and STORE below it)

Press the PROGRAM button (PAUSE if you do not have a PROGRAM button)

You can also enter station features

With the handset down and the speakerphone off.

1. Move the memory switch on the end of the phone to PROGRAM or if you have a phone with a PROGRAM key, press PROGRAM.

2. Press the button you want to program

3. If the button light turns red, dial 2  (if you select a button without a light, skip this step)

4. Enter the feature code (such as paging: 330)

5. Press the STORE button or ENTER. (The button with AUTO DIAL above it and STORE below it)
