Forward No Answer |
Calls go to another extension or voice mail if your phone is not
answered. In this mode, the phone rings several times and
then goes to your mailbox. If you are on the phone, your
phone will ring lightly and the Intercom light will flash
alerting you that someone is calling you. You can
disregard and the caller will go to your mailbox or you can
place your call on hold (or hang up) and press Intercom to
answer the second call. Call Waiting and Tone Type 2 must
be set to use this feature. It must also be allowed in
voice mail programming.
To program call waiting:
Press INTERCOM 7311. To program Tone Type 2: Press PROGRAM 99 5 2 STORE.
If your phone does not have a button labeled PROGRAM, press PAUSE 99

Forward Busy/No Answer |
Calls go to another extension or voice mail if either your phone
is busy or the call is not answered. This seems to be the
most used forwarding to voice mail. If you are on the
phone, callers are transferred to your mailbox. If you are
not on your phone, the phone rings several times and then goes
to your mailbox. |

Forward to another phone number |
This forwards to another telephone number.
NOTE: To
call forward to an outside line, each system needs to be programmed to
allow the feature. This is done in system programming Class of
Service. By default, the systems prevent each phone from forwarding to
an outside line and there is also a timer that controls the length of
the call once it has been transferred to the external number. See your
dealer to have the program set up. |
