You can place a call on hold in a common parking zone of the PBX so that any extension can retrieve the parked call by dialing a parking retrieve call. This feature is usually used in conjunction with a paging or intercom announcement.

On these systems you can program a call park button or
dial TRANSFER STAR 52 to park a call. During a conversation press Anyone can retrieve the call by pressing STAR52 and the parking zone number. An illustration of this features use follows: A call comes in for Joe. The receptionist parks the call by pressing TRANSFER STAR 5201. The call is then announced over the intercom or paging system that Joe has a call parked at 5201. Joe can go to any phone and dial STAR 5201 and be connected with the caller. |

On the TD500 system you can press TRANSFER 52 to park a call. During a conversation dial TRANSFER 52 and a 2-digit parking zone number (00 to 99). The call is now parked in that zone. Anyone can retrieve the call by pressing 52 and the parking zone number. An illustration of this features use follows: A call comes in for Joe. The receptionist parks the call by pressing TRANSFER 5201. The call is then announced over the intercom or paging system that Joe has a call parked at 5201. Joe can go to any phone and dial 5201 and be connected with the caller. |
