Visitors at the door or gate press the Doorphone button.  Programmed phones on the system ring (triple-ring)

To answer, pick up the ringing phone and you are connected

To answer if the phone is not ringing, press Intercom 40

To open the door/gate, press 5

To call a Doorphone, Intercom 31 plus door number 1 to 8, door 1 would be 311 etc.

To simply open or unlock a door/gate if you are not talking with the visitor press Intercom 55 and the 1-digit door number.  For example, door one would be 551, two would be 552 etc.

KX-TD 308 can have up to 2 door phones and 2 door/gate openers.

KX-TD 816 can have up to 4 door phones and 4 door/gate openers.

KX-TD 1232 can have up to 4 door phones and 4 door/gate openers per cabinet

KX-TD 500 can have up to 4 door phones and 4 door/gate openers per cabinet

KX-TA 624 can have up to 4 door phones and 4 door/gate openers per cabinet

Older KX-T 308/616/1232 can have up to 2 door phones and 2 door/gate openers
