Which service do you prefer when a calling party is recording a message in your mailbox, Handsfree or Private. In handsfree mode, you can monitor the callers voice through the telephone speaker. This is the default setting, so if you skip this step, callers will be heard through your speaker. In the private mode, only an alarm tone is heard and you would need to pick up your handset to hear the caller recording the message.
