KX-TDA Telephone Feature Programming
The following options are available on KX-TDA systems using the 7600 series and IP telephones. If you are using older model phones, some of the features may not be available to you.

| PROGRAM 00 ENTER | Display will show your Extension Number and your PBX port and slot number | |
| PROGRAM 01 ENTER | Allows you to change your display contrast. Press 1 for light, 2 for darker, 3 darker yet, 4 darkest. | ENTER |
| PROGRAM 04 ENTER | Backlight display, press 0 for Automatic (light on only when in use), press 1 for always on, press 2 for always off | ENTER |
| PROGRAM 19 ENTER | Line Preference Out. When you pick up the handset or press Sp-Phone do you want your phone to: Do Nothing, press 0, Grab an available idle line, press 1, Go to Intercom, press 3 or grab a specific line or group, press 2 then press a specific line or group button. | ENTER |
| PROGRAM 20 ENTER | When an incoming call is ringing at your phone and you pick up the handset, do you want it to answer : no line, press 0, the longest ringing line when multiple calls arrive, press 1 | ENTER |

| PROGRAM 23 ENTER | You can force handsfree answerback on your phone regardless of the condition of the Auto Answer light. If you press 0 for disable, internal callers to your phone will ring unless you have the Auto Answer light on. If you press 1 for enable all internal callers will come over your speakerphone whether you have the Auto Answer light on or off | ENTER |
| PROGRAM 25 ENTER | When a caller is leaving a message in your Panasonic mailbox (and you have previously set call screening) would you like to monitor the message through the telephone speaker? Press 0 for yes, through the speaker or 1 to only hear alarm tone. | ENTER |

| PROGRAM 31 ENTER | When you are on a call and someone call you on the intercom, what type of call waiting do you prefer? Press 0 for None, Press 1 for a tone, Press 2 for a voice announcement through the speaker or press 3 for a whisper announcement through the handset. (Selections 2 and 3 not available on all phones.) | ENTER |

| PROGRAM 53 ENTER | When you forward your phone, you can set a timer from 0 to 120 seconds. If you set it at 0 call will forward immediately. If you set it a 120, your phone will ring for 2 minutes before forwarding. The default time is 15 seconds. Enter the time in seconds you would prefer. We recommend 20 seconds at the most. | ENTER |
| PROGRAM 61 ENTER | Handset/Headset operation. With certain headsets, you have the option to set the phone in headset mode. When you want to make or answer a call, press the SP-PHONE button and the call will go through the headset. If you leave the phone in the Handset mode, you will need to pick up the handset to start the call and replace it to hang up. Press 0 for headset off or 1 for headset on. | ENTER |
| PROGRAM 62 ENTER | Your system may allow people to barge in on your calls. If you would like to to allow them barging in on you, press 0, if you want to prevent them from barging in on your calls, press 1. | ENTER |
