Answering Machine (TAM) Call Retrieval
The analog KX-TA308/624/824 has a feature
that allows you to barge in to a call answered on an answering machine.
The TAM (Telephone Answering Machine) station must be assigned in system
programming as the TAM extension (program 611).
Call the TAM Station, Hear Busy, Press 4
EXAMPLE:
Station 105 is assigned TAM status in system programming.
1) A caller is picked up by the answering machine.
2) Lift handset or press SP-Phone and intercom station 105.
3) Hear Busy Tone.
4) Press 4.
5) Converse
with caller in a charming and witty fashion (if appropriate)
