Recording Company Greetings on

1) Call the Voice Mail, press POUND 6
2) Press STAR 998 NOTE: The Message Managers Mailbox is 998. If you
are on a system using 2-digit extension numbers, it will be 98. If you
are on a system using 4-digit extension numbers, it will be 9998
3) Enter Password (if requested),
press POUND.
Your
password is ___________________#
4) Press 5
5) Enter the Greeting number or Custom Service
number. Indicate that you either want to change a GREETING or
a CUSTOM SERVICE MENU. Press 1 to record
a greeting (may or may not be used) or press 3 to record a Custom Service
Menu. If you don’t know the layout, call
your dealer.

6) Listen to the prompts carefully. Record your
script and press 1.
7) Then press
“1 to review or 2 to accept or 3 to erase” and start
over. When satisfied with your recording, make sure you accept by
pressing 2 or it won't be saved.
TIP: You can go to either GREETINGS
or CUSTOM SERVICE easily without starting from the beginning. Press STAR
3 to go to CUSTOM SERVICE from GREETINGS or STAR 1 to go to GREETINGS from
CUSTOM SERVICE.

Company greetings are
usually recorded in two steps. The
caller hears a Greeting followed by
a Custom Service Menu. So even though they are recorded
separately, they play back as one greeting to the caller.
