a) From any display model in the 7600 series such as 7630, 7633 or 7636

Each name in the speed dial list is entered with a number from 000 to 999. Here are some tips for users.
Our example is Jo Ann and she is entered under speed code 099. If you do not have a display phone, you will need a list of the names and codes in order to use this feature. If you have a display phone, see item 3 listed below.
1) From any phone, press STAR, STAR, 099 and she will be called.
2) From any system phone; look for the button that is labeled AUTO DIAL above and STORE below. Press the button and dial 099
3) These display phones have additional features to enhance speed dial use. All other display phones and non display phones must use either step 1 or 2

Press AUTO DIAL, display will read System Directory Name?
Press 5 and the J will appear. Now press the down arrow until Jo Ann appears with a arrow pointing to the name. Pick up the handset or press SP-PHONE and she will be called. NOTE: You can press the UP arrow to back up if you go past a name. Press VIEW to see name and number as you scroll.
b) From any display phone in the 7400 series such as 7433, 7453, 7456
Press AUTO DIAL, display will read System Directory Name? >
Press 5 and the J will appear. Turn the wheel arrow until Jo Ann appears with a arrow pointing to the name. Pick up the handset or press SP-PHONE and she will be called. NOTE: You can turn the wheel either direction to back up or go forward if you go past a name.
c) From any display phone in the 7200 series such as 7230
Press AUTO DIAL, display will read System Directory Name? >
Press 5 and the J will appear. Now press the down arrow on the rocker switch until Jo Ann appears with a arrow pointing to the name. Pick up the handset or press SP-PHONE and she will be called. NOTE: You can press the UP arrow on the rocker switch to back up if you go past a name.
4) While scrolling through the directory, press the soft key below VIEW and the full name and number will be displayed on phones. Continue to press the up or down arrow until you find Jo Ann. Pick up the handset or press SP-PHONE and she will be called. Press the softkey below EXIT if you wish to return to the regular list without the numbers.
5) If your display shows PREV or NEXT, pushing either of those buttons is the same as pushing the up or down arrows.
6) Press EXIT to return to the System Directory Name? screen.
7) Click here to determine the Speed Dial Code associated with a name.
