Dial Programming
How do I program System Speed
Dial numbers and names?
You must be on an available extension with a display phone. The
extension must be allowed to do system programming in Class of Service.
See you system administrator or Panasonic dealer for the available
extensions. Usually the main phone can do the programming and will
have the lowest numbered extension.
When you have determined the correct phone, do the
keystrokes listed in the example below.
EXAMPLE: We are going to
program Jo Ann in Speed Dial Code 099. Her number is 858 555-1212.
The TDA system can store 1000 numbers and they are stored in Speed Codes 000 to 999. For our example, we will use speed code 099.

Always enter a nine in front of the number. If a local call, skip the 1 and area code. Enter the number just the way you would normally dial it but with a nine first. The nine tells the system to grab an outside line. |

You will hear a Confirmation beep and the AUTO DIAL/STORE Button will turn red. You have now entered the number in Speed code 099. The next step is to enter the NAME in Speed Code 099 |

SHOULD KNOW WHEN PROGRAMMING
For a number such as RECEPTION 2 just continue to press the number 2 seven times and it will be
there.
Press the softkey under
CLEAR to back up one letter.
Press SP-PHONE or the soft key under NEXT to advance
to the next speed dial code or REDIAL to back up to the previous Speed dial
Code.
There are punctuation marks and symbols under the 0,
1, STAR and POUND buttons.
1 has these characters ! ? " 1
STAR has these characters / + - = > *
0 has these characters . , ' : ; 0 and also a blank space
POUND has these characters $ % & @ ( ) #
