Station Speed Dial - KX-TD System, all phones

To use Station Speed Dial

Press Intercom, Dial 3 STAR

Dial speed dial code (any number from 0 to 9 on the dial pad)


To Store Station Speed Dial

Press Intercom 30,

Dial speed dial code (any number from 0 to 9 on the dial pad)

Enter 9 and the number as you would normally dial

Press POUND

Hang Up


  SAMPLE: To program 1858 555 1212 in Dial Speed Code 3 you would do the following, press INTERCOM 30, 3, 9, 18585551212, POUND, Hang Up.  To later call this person, press INTERCOM 3 STAR 3 and the number would be called.  Remember, you have 10 positions to program, 0 to 9.  STAR means * POUND means #

  If you have programmed your phone to preferred line access to an outside line when you pick up the handset, you must press intercom before dialing the station speed dial.  Single-line phones are always in intercom mode when the handset is picked up.

  Station Speed Dial is a feature on KX-TD digital systems that allows you to have up to 10 speed dial numbers stored at your extension.  These numbers are not on buttons and require you to use a 3 digit code to access each number.  The chart above shows how to enter 858-555-1212 and then dial the number by dialing 3*3.  When storing, remember to dial 9 or another line access code for an outside line and to press # after you have entered the number.  If you have a 7400 series display phone click here.
